So far I haven't seen anything about this on the site. At Harbor Freight they have a 3 ton boom for the bed of a puck-up. Now I went today to check the one they had on the showroom floor and it is definately short enough to fit in the hatch. If you open the gate you should have enough room to lift out a motor or heavy loads. I'm trying to put the utility back in sport utility. HA, HA, HA. Oh I crack me up. lol

They did that on moster garage to a white first gen. Only it came out the side and had a claw on the end.

that was the garbage truck explorer with gullwing and working trash compactor... it was lowered via heating hte coils and had 20" kmc wheels :)

Yeah I saw that one. It was before I bought my "X", and was my favorite. But this isn't that. This will fit in the cargo area and swing out the hatch. If no one likes the idea oh, well. But I could have somne uses for it around my garage. ie. some motors outside that need to be moved and stuff like that. I know it's not for everyone.

Sounds like a cool idea.
If you do it, post the pics so we can see.

I've seen those too for pickups. They actually did an install of one of those on Trucks. It would be nice to have to lift stuff into the bed of a truck, but I don't have any use for one. Definately need pictures if you end up doing this.

The only thing I'm waiting for is another side job or two and I'll have the money for one. I also was planning on onboard air so they should compliment each other.
