I have a 94 XLT what would be the best chip for my ex. I want more horsepower and better performance. Thanks

You are probably going to find it difficult to find anything for an OBD 1 truck.

I am running a Hypertech in my 1991 XLT and it is very nice along with my intake and exhaust. Bama chips also makes one for your model. Just because it is OBDI doesn't mean they don't make them. Look on ebay for one. I picked up my hypertech on ebay for 46 bucks brand new in the box. The advantage to OBDII is that they can use the port to tune every aspect they want to while OBDI is stuck with what the chip already has on it.

I don't believe Doug at Bama Choips does any OBD 1 chips anymore.

OBD 1 does not allow a chip to do anything for the tranny.

Contact me on the obdI stuff I can tune it.-James
:D
