With Christmas soon approaching, what is on your list for the Explorer?

Here is mine...
1) New rear hatch panel
2) TPMS sensor replacement
3) Transmission fluid service
4) Transfer case (4X4) fluid service
5) Brake replacement, parking brake fix, and brake fluid service

1. Wheels and tires
2. LED strips
3. CAI and exhaust
4. Oil change
5. Non-cracked rear panel. It lasted so long without cracking :(

Gotta start somewhere right? Probably gifts to myself.

1) 4th gen black leather front seats (to match the second and third row.)
2) Front bumper painted the same color as the car (remnant of a deer impact.)
3) Extra power ports installed to plug driving camera in as to not interfere with the radio.
4) Aviator knuckles
5) Aviatir outside mirrors.

Oh, Man...this has potential to be a long thread w/ many replies...but I'll bet many post for the same items... :)

Here's mine...

1) Good diagnosis / action plan for my timing chain rattle(s)
2) New tensioners (rear external to start)
3) A pre-oiler system (much interest in StreetRod2000's setup)
4) Fix the ABS light issue (supposedly rear sensor)
5) Fix air bag light issue (again - better)
6) Install new evap canister purge valve
7) Wheel bearings - especially front pass side
8) Install new solenoid pack for tranny / new fluid / filter
9) Recondition roof rack rails
10) Recondition lower rocker / wheelwell / bumper trim (currently OEM gray)
11) Fix the one small rust spot on inside of driver's rear door frame
12) Install powered sub to go with new BT-equipped radio (e.g.; Infinity BassLink - I've had one of these laying around waiting for a suitable application)
13) Address the parking brake / bleed brake system
14) Flash PCM w/ last revision for my VIN
15) Replacement of vehicle with a 09-up V8 Explorer
16) Replacement of vehicle with a GM 360T series w/ 4.2 Inline-six

Guess I'll stop there... :)

And after writing all of that, and fixing everything so far that I have in about 8 months of ownership... I still enjoy driving / using my Explorer! (my 2nd...had a '99 before this one)

Belt, pulley, and tensioner

Upper control arms

Chrome grille replacement

Door ajar / wiring issue? fix

Fuel filter

Radiator fluid drain and fill

Plugs and wires

Rear differential seals and fluid

Front differential fluid and seal

Hubs/wheel bearings (growling, getting worse)

Tranny drain and fill & software update

Transfer case flush

Not as trouble-free as my 1997 Ford Ranger, but the Explorer handles the Michigan snow like a boss.

A larger garage to keep the explorer in, and to work on. I doubt Santa is going to come through on it this year.
