chrome clad rims

i am eager to rip that chrome off yes it is a steel wheel behond mine just like the other 4 that came with my truck i just got this one from the junkyard for a spare since i did not have one. i noticed the chrome thing is delamitated from the steel wheel and just like previously mentioned is like 1/4" or more away at the center hub i can also see the demarcation at the outer rim so i am guessing a little prybar action will pop or rip it out then i am going to paint umm (BLACK) because i happen to still like that trend . i will post some pictures of before and after . i am guessing there is definitely going to be a wire brush clean up the rim phase to this with some solvent or stripper oh well
