Quick question: Which yields better results - using a clay bar or using a liquid paint cleaner (such as the one that is part of the Maguire's 3 step polish/wax system)?

Or both?

Ive used that 3 step program before and it doesnt compare to a clay bar. The polish and wax is very good to use afterwards though, thats what I use.

Rather than trying to compare them, I think you should use them together, that will yeild great results.

Amen to that :chug:

I have never heard of this cleaner yall are talking about. Which one is it?

Maguires makes or made(not sure if they still do) a 3 step wax process. It is 3 bottles. Paint cleaner first, polish second and 3rd a wax.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback all. When I do this, this week or next, I'll set aside a full afternoon so I can do both.

My clearcoat has clouded in areas, will these 2 help or do I have to get a complete new paint job for my 96

Cleacoat can appear cloudy from stuff on top, but generally cloudy clear is a result of bad adhesion between coats... and bad news a a rule.

Clay bar, than ck out www.crystalguard.com, is great science for todays paint advancments.
Gave all my Zaino stuff away:)
