Could be worse. You could be sweating your arse of in the middle of nowhere Iraq for the next 9 months. I can't wait to hit the never ending beach and bask in the 120°F+ temps.

That sucks big time, I was supposed to be there now with the "rooks" until my med issue, now i have my PEB in sept.

On a diffrent not were not that far away any idea who is definitly going.

I am leaving Friday. From what it sounds like we'll be camping (Oh Joy). Moose, do you want to meet up in renton and convoy over the pass?

Most certinly renton it is, i think im following diff also if hes still going. I have a cheepy medium walmart one ill bring if people want to bbq. Im so confused on what to bring cuase i dont know if ice will stay unmelted in a cooler for 3 days enough to keep food from spoiling.

Did you do the full tt on your truck yet, also are you working this weekend? Im thinking of heading to walker valley or somthing.

We should be able to find a place that has ice, relativly close. Just have to make a few runs to the store, even if it's a little ways away.

I haven't messed with the front end, maybe later. Money is tight for me right now, so even if I did have the time off,(I typically work every weekend ) probably wouldn't be able to go.

I don't know if Kevin (Diff Whack Daddy) will make it but Ryan (Arsoul) will not be coming per previous posts in this thread.

I'm trying to put the squeeze on Bryce (Dreamr) to make sure he shows up otherwise this will be a very small gathering.

There is a small store about 30 minutes from the trail head but if you need more substancial provisions, you'll need to go all the way into Cle Elum for Safeway.

For ice, blocks will last longer than cubes (less surface area). Also, you can pack 2 coolers, one for beverages that will be opened and closed constantly and another for serious food items you want to keep cold. I usually freeze some bottles of water, when they melt, you can drink them.

For a BBQ, I will bring a small propane one that'll cook 4 burgers at once. Remember no fires, only stoves and lanterns. That means no briquet BBQ's (not my rules and I don't think every person at the camp site wants to pay a $200/ea fine for having a fire).

The more food you bring, the more there'll be for the bears so,
Friday dinner
Saturday breakfast, snack lunch, dinner
Sunday breakfast, snack lunch and get dinner on the way home. That's my plan.

Wow so were looking at just the three of us then, Ive pm'd other members from our area but no ones been able to go. Albino Ill just bring my little grill so we can cook at once plus it uses charcole so. I figure we can come up with a master list for dinner and all chip in, but i know i drink 1-2 gallons of water a day so ill be stacking up big.

1 hour 56 minutes via. mapquest. I might have a buddy of mine from Moses Lake come over and go wheeling as well. Don't know if he'll have his rig (Older K5 Blazer) up and running...
