I am still going. I am bringing the camper that has a fridge :D Did I also mention it has a hot water heater too, and carries 40 gallons of fresh water :D I can also bring one of those huge ass 140 qt or so coolers if anyone wants to use that. I will be bringing one or two of the rugrats with me, no wife.

moose1, I will probably get off around noon on Friday and will then head home to switch to the other truck which will be loaded and ready to go. I will PM you with a contact number.

Thats cool, if you want i can meet you at the base and follow you, the only thing is the traffice were going to hit the way there. with a three hour drive that puts us right in it.

96explorer is that going to work for a later meet up time, the more of us who meet at once the better.

no problem, esp. if he'll be towing a trailer make sure to plan extra time on the road ;)

Not really, we leave my place by 1 pm or so, that rolls us down the 405 by 3 to 4. On a Friday though, traffic starts at noon and your screwed no matter what. Oh well, traffic or not, I'm goin'

That's why you caravan when yu have a trailer. It is great to have a traffic blocker when you want to switch lane.

For a short trip like this the trailer won't slow me down. It's the 1200 mile trips that I add an extra travel day for. ;)

What kinda trailer do you have? What are the specs? I'd actually consider taking ocer my parents 20' Nash, but my X is only rated to tow up to 2500lbs.

The trailer is 20ft flatbed that the explorer rides on. The camper sits on the back of the F-350. It's a 850 Eagle Cap with a slide out.

You should roll pretty well until you get to SR-520 then it will slow considerably until you get past Issaquah on I-90.

So i guess well be doing some night weeling on friday. Whats the cost to rent the campsite??? just checking just in case.

Friday night is for setting up camp and :chug:

I suppose we can do a night run before I crack one open though

I wont be craking anything moose man doesnt drink, but i will crack open a water.

So, I just want to clarify, these trails arn't very hard, right. What would be the chances of my X gettingg stuck? Slim to none?

And it's just kinda a show up and camp place, no reservations needed?

It seems from what alb. said its dry so i dont think we have to worry about getting stuc. pm sent.

Slim to none, correct
At worst, a stocker might drag the frame rails a little and there might be a little dragging of front and/or rear bumpers/tow hitch on some of teh water crossings. The approach and departures were a little steep.

No worries, we will have plenty of straps and winches in case someone needs a little assistance  ;)

This trail head is not a developed camp ground, first come, first served, gets the best spot :p

  i hope not. Im thinking it would be best to get there early to get a good spot, probaly like 11 or so hu.

 Did you notice  it's RED? Who has a  RED X?

The off camber stuff WILL wad up your undies though

Hard to say about the camp spot. The BEST one is up the trail 1/2 mile but Kevin will never get his F350 up there so we'll hang out down at the trail head and charge admission to anyone trying to pass :D

Right now I plan on going over in the morning, staking out spots, then doing some fly fishing while waiting for yous guys

I'm going to stick with following kev, so its easier if he need to cross traffic and such.
