Question for you guys... What's the best way to clean the air filter??

Here's what I did...I used a paint brush and brush away large debris embedded in the filter, then sprayed the cleaner on, then waited 20 minutes, after that, took it to the hose and hosed it off and let dry. Well, here's the problem, 5 or 6 hours later, water was collected at the bottom of the filter (I have a cone filter). So I said, no big deal, I shook the water off then sprayed the oil onto the filter and left it overnight. Well, this morning, the oil was collected at the bottom so again, I turned it upside down and shook it off, well now...there's even more oil collected. What am I doing wrong??

Oops...sorry it's such a long post.

You should have let it completley dry:(

You should of let it dry completely out and I hope you sprayed it from the inside out. That way you dont force the dirt further into the filter. Wipe it out with a lint free cloth the best you can and let it dry.
