It shouldn't. When I used it on my G6, it worked fine. My main purpose there was to clean wax off of the plastic though.

Aerospace 303 is great for all the plastic, tire dressing, and rubber trim.

Use creamy peanut butter to take off any wax on your trim. It sounds crazy but it works.
