Clear side markers fading to a yellowish color..

Bought clear corners a while ago, and theyre starting to turn a yellow color. I tried this cleaner but didnt work. Thinking about soaking them in hot water and soap. Someone told a while ago to buy this clear film that protects them, or to use sand paper to bring them back to life.
Anyone have suggestions, or similar DIY posts?

I know that wet sanding can definately help get the yellow out of it.

use 1000 wet sand then 2000 wet sand then a headlight polishing kit

I've seen the polishing kits. It's not that though because i tried it, and only the edges are yellow. And it's on the inside. So i'm thinkin that sh*t built up on the inside because I went to change the bulbs and the whole bottom attachment was coming off..i don't know. I'll soak them then let you guys know how it works
