This may be beating a dead horse, but I was thinking about this. If the stop/taillight lens was painted red like the turn signal mod, and leave the turn and reverse lens clear, would this be considered more "legal" than having just the clear lens? Maybe use a red bulb to increase the effectiveness of the red?
