About a year ago I started to hear a clicking noise ( as if there were a rock in the tire) in the right front of 04 XLT 4X4 that has progressively gotten worse. The noise was / is evident when stopping and taking off, so I figured it was the breaks and had them inspected. The technician was unable to identify the problem and said there a only a small if any warp in rotor that he didn't believe would be causing the noise. now I am beginning the experience the problem in the front left.

Any Idea's before I pay to have them looked at again?

Mine made that noise when my ABS went out, it was the the pump that controls the ABS that broke and it would just freak out when i would stop or take off. Most of the time when I was stopping though. Is your ABS light on?

I began recognizing the noise while performing turns in the beginning, but at this point the noise seems to be as equally loud while stopping or taking off, weather performing a turn or not.

Yes the ABS light has come on in the past but has always went out after restarting engine.

Mine did the same thing, ABS light on and off. I took it to the dealership and they said it was the Hydraulic pump that controls the ABS. Said it would be $1600 to replace it. My brakes work fine, I haven't fixed the pump yet. I was thinking I would try and get one of a wrecked or parted out Expo. The only downside I can see at this point is the clicking.
