Go under the front axle and check out the CV boots. Check the inside of the wheels too. If there's lots of grease and the boot is torn, then it's the joints. Otherwise.......hmmmm...i'm just as lost as you are. Good luck.

Bear :, it's dry and the boots are not torn..
but the only reason I still think it's the cv's is I did the OME/twist,and the twisting of the torsion bars to gain lift in the front may be stressing the cv's,I've had this for a year though ????,and it's only on the right side when at highway speed and the road bends to the right, making the truck lean a little to the left at around 55 mph.
thanks

I'm now thinking this could be the hubs ???

95+ models don't use auto hubs, so it isn't possible. I've heard of excessive TT stressing the CVs, but i'm not sure what happens when they're over stressed. Better check with someone who does know.

they dont have auto hubs but do have wheel bearings..... it is possible they are out of grease and need to be replaced

it turns out that Ford will honor the warranty even though I'm over 37'000, they still think it's the hubs?
the service manager said that these are not auto's though, but that they do go bad from time to time.
but whatever it is....they will fix it !!!!!next week
thanks to everyone

Just be careful with what they tell you. Our 4x4 system locks the differential electronically, and doesn't use any hub locking mechanism whatsoever.
Good luck

thanks Bear, It's on them now,and I'll let them figure it out,I just hope they don't start blaming all the mods.
thanks again
