Clicky-click sound

I hear a 'clicky-click' sound when I accelerate above 60 - when I let off the pedal, it goes away, when I tap it again, I hear it again.....anyone else?....is this something with the 'Explorers?'....mine is a '92 Eddie Bauer - 4 door

Man, i wish i knew, my fiancee has a 94 Legacy wagon and it does the same thing, sorry i can't help i just wanted to see if anyone else knows.

my moms 96 does it too...... but not my 94????

It's called spark knock or "pinging." Try running 89 octane at all times, you could also try cleaning your MAF.
