I think my ST Limited must be the only one without HVAC dual zone climate controls. I have the dial type HVAC controls that the XLT has.

Is there any way to retro fit the climate control unit into use the digital one, by changing the unit and face plate? Or is it a completely different system under the covers? I'm guessing since I don't have dual zone that all the plumbing is different.

I'm preparing to swap out the stock radio with a nav unit and wanted to see if the HVAC upgrade is an option while I have it open.

Thanks in advance.

I've seen many Limiteds this way, even a few STA's. (have seen a bunch of Limiteds with cloth interior) Mine was part of the "Limited Electronics Package". $570 MSRP got you the DEATC (Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control), redundant steering wheel controls for audio/HVAC, and the 4-line message center.

Pretty sure the dual zone has a different blender box tucked away deep under the dash. Likely a ton of wiring rethinking as well. It certainly looks better than the rotary knobs, but maybe some cool billet knobs would set yours off?

I assumed as much after looking at the parts diagrams. Thanks for the response.

I'll look into different knobs, but can just live with how it is.
