2002 Eddie Explorer 4.0.

The A/C is only blowing air out of the defrost vents. Everyone keeps talking about the little lever located in the glove box area being broken but mine is not. you you push the lever to the correct position for the air to blow out of the front vents but then it immediately forces back into the defrost position. what else could it be?

Your servo is broken / has an internal leak.
