2006 Explorer EB V8 4x4
I've got a 2006 Explorer EB V8 and just replaced the front upper/lower ball joints, front CV axles, and struts all around. Now I get a metallic clank sound from the front end when taking off. The roads are slick and icey and only does it when auto 4wd detects slippage and engages to the front wheels. Any ideas?

U joints/cv joints in the front driveshaft?

It could be so many things that it is best to get it on a lift and do a thorough check of everything. Including the transfer case since it occurs when AWD is involved.
