My radiator is clogged on my '92. Is there any fix for this or do I need a new radiator? I tried a bottle of Prestone Super flush with negative results. Anything else I should do/try?

A rad shop may be able to remove the tanks and "rod" the core. 10 years old makes it a bit iffy. Personally, I'd likely spring for a new rad (which the rad shop may recommend).

I agree with jimmiecakes, a shop might be able to clean it but more likely it would be almost as cheap to get a new rad.

If it were me I would get a triple-core radiator and do it right. The radiator is pretty easy to remove on our trucks (speaking for 91-94s).

Despite having a few ****tails tonight, Nappy New Year to all, I would re-flush your radiator and get all of that super flush out of your cooling system. If it sits too long in there, like mine, you'll watch coolant pour down the back of your block and you'll stare a rebuild in the face. Apparently, w/o a real good after cleansing, the flush chemicals have a propensity to remain and deteriorate coolant fittings which will ultimately ruin your day. I believe I am not alone on this...

Run a couple passes of good clean water through and you should be fine.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll replace it since I already bought the radiator yesterday and I have nothing else to do today on New Years.
