My 98 XLT has had this problem from day one. When I accelerate hard the front end bumps and clunks until the car gets settled. It doesn't happen when i am accelerating nice and easy. I am gonna take it to my local guy so i was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I read in the manual that the 98 explorer has a system that diverts power to the front under acceleration. Could this be the problem? thanks
