I get the same thing frequently. I keep thinking it's the bearings, but I have yet to replace them. I might just take it to the shop to confirm that's what it is before I spend $$ on new hubs.....
while the truck is sitting still, shift between drive and reverse.. if you hear the clunk then it's in the drivetrain somewhere.. i suspect it isn't though.
