I have a 2013 Explorer (Intercetor Utility) version with front wheel drive only...

When braking I intermittently have a single clunk that occurs. It only happens once when braking. No problems heard when accelerating or driving. Happens intermittently. More so after making a right turn and coming to a stop while driving in city streets at speeds of 15-35 MPH. The clunk can also be slightly felt through the driver side floor and through the steering wheel.

Any thoughts?

Take a look at the lower control arm bushings. Mine are bad, rubber has deteriorated and it causes noise over bumps/when light braking.

Photo for reference, this is mine.
