I'm scheduling service for this, but I'm not sure what the problem is. But here's the behavior that's exhibiting. Maybe someone can help diagnose this? I'm still under warranty, so should be all good:

The car is still driving, usually quite fine, but frequently shifting while accelerating has gotten increasingly clunky. This is especially noticeable driving up inclines. There is one rather steep hill on my way home from my daily commute and for the last few days I've been careful going up that hill (not accelerating too quickly). I keep the car in drive (not sport) and while I've experimented with sport mode, I did not find any improvement. Usually the behavior exhibits when cruising at a slow speed like 30kph, going around a corner or up a hill and then accelerating normally. It'll sometimes do a very harsh shift. From a stop, it's generally less frequent but I can still get chunky/harsh shifting. I'm not flooring it or driving aggressively at all. Just normal street driving.

This morning I had the worst experience yet. I did a U-turn at the bottom of a very steep hill and attempted to drive back up the hill after coming out of a reverse on a 3-point turn. The car literally wouldn't move forward, although I could feel it trying. I put it in park, and tried again. It took three tries before it finally figured it out. So the problem feels like it could be sensor or ECU related too. It was like a stall but without the engine actually stalling. I felt gentle pulsating of a very light forward force but not enough to actually move.

So definitely going in before it outright breaks.

My 6sp is clunky as well. Its not a bad transmission, but not silky smooth at all times. Check fluid level, when changed etc
