My brake warning lamp on my cluster hasn't worked for a while. I would set my parking brake and it wouldn't come on. Every once in a while (once every couple of months) it will come on upon start, and won't go off until I depress the emergency brake pedal and release it. The pedal was never down, nothing's wrong with the braking system itself (busted lines, abs sensors).....I'm stumped.....any suggestions?

There is a sensor on that it maybe possible its loose, just becareful if you mess with it I know mine it has a pretty thin wire and looks like it could snap easy.

Where's the sensor?

You have to take that plastic piece out down by your feet. and its down there connected to a metal piece, haven't looked at these on a second gen. but its toward the top, you'd better use a flashlight if you look just so you don't mess something up.
