went out to my truck today and low and behold, if it didnt manage to generate a crack down the center of the guage cluster lens over the weekend. I was online looking for a replacment, and it looks as though there are 2. 1 with message center, 1 without. How do I know which one I will need, and what does the message center look like? Mine gives the odometer reading and temp on the first setting, thats it. Is that the message center or is it larger then that.

Think I found my answer. It has the reset switch on the cluster, meaning no message center. 94 bucks to the door, ouch. Oh well.
Know any good OEM parts places that ship to Canada?

Easiest would be to find a junkyard cluster and just get the lens. Replacing the whole cluster requires dealer reprogramming most likely.

Looks like the going rate for a used cluster is around $100 from ebay, etc.

That reset is a pain in the ass. You have to reach thru or around to hit it. Not the safest idea of Ford's.
My wife's Escape has the reset on the left under the headlight switch.

Just looking for a lens, 4 screws to remove it after the dash is pulled. The dash is 2 screws and a pull on the top. The lens its self is around 70 bucks before shipping. I just need a dealer that ships to Canada. Our Local dealer is usually around double the US prices on parts.

Edit: Just got a quote for 200 bucks from our local dealer.

They are a reliable outfit...been around for years. They even sponsored a successful 64 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt dragster back in the 60's...yep, older than dirt.

Tasca rocks, less then half the price of the local stealership and less then 2 weeks from order to arival. The stealership said at least a month to get the parts in. I would recomend these guys to anyone who is looking. they will get all my oem parts buisness in the future.
