I need to clean the backside of the cluster lens. Is it removable? Seems like it would be since it has its own part # BB5Z10890A. If so, my next question will be How.

If I just choose to replace it, what is difference between the low series part and the high series part?

Welcome to the Forum. Kevin.
No one has posted about this item before so I don't know if it is removable or not. Curious that the inside needs cleaning. I would have thought that it would have been a well sealed unit to prevent this sort of thing. The descriptions I read on both parts, A (lo) nd B (hi) seem to be the same. Perhaps your local dealer's parts people would be able to tell you what the differences are, if any.

High series = higher end cluster, in our case, the IPC that went along with MyFord Touch units.

Low series = base cluster with physical tachometer.

I ordered part BB5Z-10890-B. The diagram shows it as just the clear plexiglass. But it's not!! It's the entire front cover. Remove 4 small Torx screws on the back and snap off. Then just snap on the new and replace the screws.

Back story: Just bought this SUV. The dealership or previous owner must have gotten crazy with the Armor All. There were glops that had settled behind the lens, making it ugly during the day and blurry at night. After removing the old, I saw it wasn't sealed at the top. The new one is completely sealed.

A picture of it would have been nice before installation.;)

I've got pics but don't know how to attach.
Yesterday you could have taken out a 2 year Elite membership for $20 and posted right from your computer. Now same price for 1 year. Some members use a site like Photobucket to link their pics.
