I am in need of a new CLUTCH. I am getting a quote from a clutch shop of $700. My question is:

IS this a good price or should I keep looking around?

The place I went to is a Clutch specialist. Shop only for clutch work.

Should I try a shop that is an all around shop or a specialist?

Please give me some advise, Please, Please, Please.

Kelly

Welcome to the site! :bounce: Personally, that price sucks just becuase I do all my own work. Can you drive the truck down here to Mountain Home? We'll do it together for half of that price.

Damn, you cant refuse that offer.. I paid 800$ for my clutch replacement. No, they didnt use vasoline :(

I paid $800 plus and I still feel like I'm burning through it faster than the fctory. Take NOTAJP's offer!
The plates and throw out bearing would prolly run about $350 delivered to your door..... The rest is labor and shop overhead.

My stepdad is going to replace the clutch on mine for me. I just paid for the clutch kit. You just gotta love free labor if you can get it!
