CMP sensor help 1997 explorer ohv

Hello my friends, few days ago i rebuild the aging engine of my ride, last saturday i try to start this machine and i notice a misfire and horrible sounds from the engine.

The man that rebuild the engine did not follow the procedure to uninstall/install the cmp sensor.

I read many threads of this gold valued forum and i find many usefull information regarding this issue, but any mentioned a procedure to install again this sensor without the regular procedure to uninstall.

The sync tool is impossible to find in venezuela

You should be able to find the tool on EBay or Amazon. Some auto parts stores have a tool loaning program. Find out if your local auto parts stores have it.
