Another run, so exciting to see, This time I'll try to not be so late. I too like Becker have fallin off when it comes to this forum, having fun with the new car and started to mod the ex back to street style. Down to see 22" rims on the trails? That last trip here I was surely the funny looking rookie........who shall I pass the stick to now?

Yeah, it'd be great to wheel with you again. You didn't have any issues on the one 2 years ago (with Brian, Mike, AspenX, Rhino and us ran).... save for your coil/bucket issue. Definately see if you can head out...

Dates?? How is the middle to end of July for everyone? I know interest on this fizzled a bit because I lagged for so long on ideas for prospective trails/areas etc.... I but I really just want to get a good group together to wheel for a few days.

So let me know what your take is and date wise what works best for the masses :salute:

Edit: I forgot to add that the great bunch of guys at rmftc.com are doing a camping trip and run through Chinaman's on 6/8-6/10 that I'm planning on doing (see http://www.rmftc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3441 ). Again, this is a really cool group of guys that are nice as can be.

We may want to space it a ways from the moab run so others can recover ( mechanically and financially) and attend the Rocky mountain run.

I figured with Moab in the middle of May that having a CO run 2 months later would be cool... and still be awesome weather.

you people open to new explorer people?

you people open to new explorer people?

Absolutely!! We're not a club... just a couple of people from this board who like to wheel! :D

We'll love to have you if you're interested in a run. :)

yea i'm really intrested never off roaded seeing i use to be part of a VW bus group lol so i'd love to itd be awesome

CO Guy you can do a search for Colorado Colors runs from years past... There have been a two or three... You can probably get some ideas from those as well if you read up on what was done in the past...

If your really interested in the Crested Butte area let me know(I lived in Gunnison for 15 years). Schofeild Pass is not that hard and the scenery is fantastic, and is do-able by almost anything(I had the kids with me and never turned a hub in). Pearl and Taylor Passes are probably out with all the snowfall they had over there(they are tough trails anyways). Like I said let me know.

I would love to go back the Ouray area if you guys are up for that:D

I would be down to go on some of the trails that have been talked about. It would be cool if the trail(s) that are decided had some easier routes and some harder routes to get all different kinds of vehilces there,( I would really like to finally met the people behind the S/N's). Right now I am sitting a bit over stock but hopefully soon (with some time and money) most of the bigger things I want to get done, will be.

just installed the superlift 5.5, hope the springs settle pretty quickly, very stiff they are- are they reccomended for off-road use?

Ya they should be fine, my skyjacker coils were the same.

So do we have a date set for this yet?

im real interested.

I would like to join in on the run as well, depending on dates. And I may try to get a couple other friends to go as well, even though 1 of them is a J**P.

Chad
