Gentlemen of the Ford Forum... Will a malfunctioning coast clutch solenoid cause my Explorer to make a "Whizzing" noise when I let off the gas and coast as in when I'm going down hill? The noise only happens when the Explorer has been driven for around 20 to 30 minutes and the transmission is warmed up and I am going above 40 MPH. The noise stops when I slow down to around 20-25 MPH.
