Code P1450 2005 Exp XLT

My wife's 05 Explorer XLT V8 80,000 Miles
Just got a code P1450. The code reader said "Manufactur control Auxillary emmison control.

What the heck does this mean?

Now a few weeks ago she got another code on it that said the gas cap was not on..But it was. I replaced it with a Non OEM cap. Not I got the above code. ANy help would be great

Now...There are some other issues showing up...on this XLT...We can not fill the tank up with gas...We can only get about a 1/4 of a tank of gas in the tank...No matter where we get gas from the pumps shuts off and will not allow us to continue to fill it up....This is really frustrating when my wife drives 100 miles a day...

Any help would be great on why I can not get more than 1/4 tank of gas and I am getting the above code error...
