This trip was an absolute blast. Unfortunately, the group I went with did not have a GPS unit and we couldn't find the Coke Oven run. So, instead we did Upper Woodpecker (4.0). This trail was far harder than anything I had ever done or would normally have ever attempted with the current ability of my Explorer. I couldn't believe some of the stuff that the Ex could do, especially without lockers (Just a little well placed running start can do wonders). I only had to take two bypasses and that was only because I physically could not fit into the main obstacle on the first, and the second obstacle was the firehole (this is an infamous obstacle that to watch any vehicle do is impressive). Definately took my abilty to a new level. For those who haven't done this trail, I highly recommend it. It's a lot of fun, but believe me when I say that this trail is looooong and with lots of obstacles. Definately an all day trip. I took a bunch of pictures (3 rolls). Unfortunately, I did not know how long the trail was beforehand and used up 90% in the first 25% of the trail. Oops, live and learn. I will post thos pictures as soon as I get them scanned and uploaded. Whose up for going out on 11/23-11/24?
