why dont you just get a cone and maf adaptor? I pid like 30 bucks for both of them and it works perfectly, isnt it the same thing as the kkm?

doesnt the kkm come with a larger/less restrictive tube between the MAF and intake? if you change the filter and dont change that tube, i doubt it will help much because the engine still cant pull in much more than it did before.

Yeah, I have read the CFM studies before. They argue that a drop in filter is as efficient as a cone. But the idea of a dirty drop in vs. a dirty cone makes sense. I didn't want to get into the off roading issue because who's going to use true CAI in a off road rig? I was sticking to that topic. Off roading is a whole different ballgame. If you find a KKM for as cheap as the K&N why not do it! But if you want something now go for the K&N... it's not pretty but it will make a difference.
