Compass & temperature indicator.

Hello All:
Am a new member and not too good on the computer. Have a problem with my Explorer Sport 2003. The compass, temperature doesn't show anything. Removed the lens cover and can see a burn mark in the lower left hand corner. Am guessing it needs to be replaced. How do I get it out and where can I get a replacement?

I had the same problem with my 02 Sport Trac. I searched and found this thread:
