Sorry if some/all of this has already been answered, but I got overwhelmed sorting thru all the threads. I have a 1995 XLT and want to completely redo my lights (fogs, hi/lo beams, clear lenses). I've heard of PIAA Superwhite and Extreme White, anyone got any more suggestions. I was wanting to know if this is all I need to make everything look uniform:

*High and Low superwhite
*Superwhite fog lights
*Clear corner lamp lens
*Clear blinker lens

The Ford dealer said that I'd have to get a completely new unit if I wanted it to be clear and that'd cost $130/light:eek: Didn't know if that was right or if I could get it cheaper somewhere else.

Thanks in advance and sorry if it's already been answered.

Kyle

P.S. My friend and I just took a break from installing my new Monroe SensaTrack shocks. I hope they work well!!

you can get aftermarket clears from several companies..... sylvania superstars are great for the regular headlights... much better than the piaas i used to have..... the other lights, well, you will have to buy some off brand that says they are super lights of some sort, as the stock bulb replacements are pretty much in stock oem form... or just replace them with aftermarket ones.....

You can get clear corners on Ebay for like $30. I recommand the Sylvannia SilverStar headlight bulbs. For the fogs, I got a pair of 885 superwhites. They were $13 on Ebay.

Thanks a bunch for the replies. I think I'll go with sylvania brand and keep looking around for the clear lenses.

PIAA's are great!! But really expen$ive, like $80 per pair for headlights. I have them in my Camaro, but Sylvania is fine for my XLT.

I'm in the prcess of replacing my headlight and hella driving light bulbs. I currently have silverstars in my haedlights, regular bulbs in my driving lights and piaa h1s in my factory fog lights. the silver stars are slightly whiter than the original bulbs, but the piaas blow them out of the water. they are really white. i think that the silverstars were a waste of my money. the piaas are much better. iin fact, i just ordered extreme white plus 9007s and h3s and expect them at the end of the week. a piar of 9007s ran me 69.99 and the h3s ran me 49.99 from truckperformance.com . they have great prices.
