Condensation on Taillights...

Just got my X 2 months ago. I noticed this condensation on both taillights last month so I took it in to Ford. Well, they said they'll replace the left one but there wasn't enough condensation on the right one to warrant replacement so I shook my head and told him I'll see him about the right one next time it rains.

Low and behold we've had record breaking rains here in the east coast and when I looked at both taillights to check, not only was the right one all watered up inside but the left one as well, the same one they've just replaced.

So I brought it in this morning to Ford and they said they'll replace both taillights. I walked around the lot and checked out the other 06's taillights and saw that some of them had the same problem as mine and some of them were fine.

I plan on doing this as many times as I have to and I know eventually I'll get some good ones. It's a pain but after letting Ford know over and over again, what else can I do?

You're not the only one. I had the drivers rear replaced on my wife's 06 Eddie Bauer once already. Hope it doesn't come back!

Damn! Me too. I should have my new tail light in a few days. I looked at alot of Ex. tail lights at my dealer but could'nt find any with condensation like mine. The service manager said I am the first with this complaint. He ordered the light right away. I hope this does not become an on going problem. Other than that, I love the Ex.

Condensation

I had the dealer replace a total of 5 (2 left, 3 right) taillights on my 06 Limited X before they got it right.

I know i should not comment here, but after ALL of the rain this last winter... mine are A-OK, could be a later batch?
