Cone Filter Adapter from other Fords???

Will a cone filter adapter from other Fords, like a Prope or Escort work with my '93 X?

The ones for '93 Explorers are going for around $50, and that is way more then I want to spend for just the adapter, I might as well go out and by a KKM.

I'm not too sure on that kind of setup.. but on my 97 x, i have a filter off a 94-95 stang. so i know crazy filters off other cars can fit. just my 2 cents

The bolt spacing is different for the Explorer then the Probe.
