will sport trac guages out of a 2001 sport trac fit in a 1996 explorer? and can i change the mileage to read my current mileage? thanx

that depends on if you have a mechanical spedo or not? a v-8, 4wd, lots of beer, lots of meticulous working???
 






Even though they look the same, 97- and 98+ gauges are different. Basically all the idiot lights are in different places.
