Hello everyone,I just got myself a 4.0 1997 explorer limited,it's in very gud shape considering the age of the car,but it has some issues with the arc. As i am in Malaysia,the service centers are not well informed on this vehicle,it's a very rare car on the road here.Took it to the ford dealer,who just kept saying ahhh ahh.
The problems that I am facing are:
1. Front end of the car sits lower than the rear.
2. It's very bouncy,and can feel every single bump of the road
3. I can never hear the arc compressor working.
4. Can't locate the relays of arc.
5. Checked all fuses but,can't find the relay of arc
6. Oil leaking from rear right shock.
Things that I have tried:
1.I have tried to reset the arc by turning off the switch at the cargo area( beside the jack) and lifted the car, then got the car to floor and followed by Turing on the switch.but no result
2. Took out the arc compressor and checked if it worked,( positive it was working)
3. Checked the wiring coming to the compressor( negative) no power
4. Checked the fuses all ok
Kindly please suggest me what do I do now?
