I'm wondering if I can get the "brake traction control" portion of advance trac to work on my X which only has control track from the factory... I want the ability to get past areas where I currently get stopped due to lifting tires off the ground when off-roading, but don't really need a locker since I won't be doing any really gnarly trails. I just want to not have to worry about ending up stuck when a trail crosses through a ditch at an angle. I've almost been stranded due to going down into one such area which isn't all that bad, and hanging one rear and one front on opposite corners in the air. Couldn't simply back out of it, cuz either way was UP at that point, which required even just a little traction to due. Luckily, my now ex-wife was with me and sat on the corner of the bumper, forcing that wheel down a bit.
