I have an 07 explorer equipped with the 4.6.
Between the right/front shocker tower and right side of the engine, theres a hose that appears to split between the transmission cooler and heater core. The plastic coupling is Y shaped, and has somehow sprung a leak out of the top portion where the upper hose goes in. I attempted to separate the hose from the coupling, however, was unsuccessful. The coupling doesn't appear cracked, but coolant is coming out of the top where the hose connects, maybe a bad O-ring?
Anyone have this problem? Or know a way to fix it without major surgery?
