Overheating, not radiator/coolant related!!!!

I've got a similar problem with my truck running hot. It's in for a service at the moment, and I'm hoping that the garage will check most of these things out for me. Do any of you guys know if a garage will check the cat, t-stat as a part of the service, or is this stuff I'm going to have to check myself?

I'm hoping they will as I'm not the best with a wrench...

mine done that there was dead grass and stuff inbetween ac and radeator excuse spelling.took off it off clean it off runs fine now
