like you may have red in one of my rpevious posts, i left water in the engine overnight and it froze. so turns out that i destroyed my water pump but all hoses were fine. replaced the pump and tried running it, but now i have no heat. i look at the temp gauage, and when at idle, and it is near the 'o' in normal. when i accelerate, it quickly shoots down to the cold mark. i am thinking my tstat is stuck open, even tho i replacd it 3 weeks ago (before the damage) i damaged the bottom screw holding the sat housing in, so removing it is gonna be a b%@#%! i was wondering if there are any other things that would cause this sysmptom, since i dont wanan go through the trouble of replacing it and thats not the problem. also, does anyone know howto get a sheared off bolt out of the hole WITHOUT using a dremel (it doesnt fit) tahnks for the help!

Sounds like the stat to me. To get the bolt out, try an 'easy out' you'll have to drill a hole into the broken bolt, insert the easy out and turn.
