Cost of front pinion seal replacement?

I have a 1995 Sport 4WD. The front pinion seal is leaking and needs to be replaced. The cover probably needs to be resealed too. What kind of cost am I looking at to have a shop do this? I understand that prices will vary, I'm just trying to get a ballpark figure. I would do the job myself, but my apartment complex does not allow vehicle repairs in the parking lot, and even if they did, I would not have all of the proper tools.

go to Autozone.com for the price of the part; however, most shops will charge a little more than that. I would guess labor to change the pinion seal shouldn't be more than 1 hour so to estimate what it would cost multiply 1 hour times the shop labor rate then add the price of the part, plus roughly $5.00 for shop supplies and waste disposal.
