cost of new gears?

What should I expect to pay if I take my explorer to a shop and ask them to install 4.10 or 4.56 gears? I'm talking estimated cost for parts and labor. Idealy I'll pick up the gears used for cheap, but if I may just have them do it all.

Around 500 bucks probably.

I would call around different shops and see if you can get them to try to beat each others prices. I saved about 200 bucks of my lift by doing that.
