Cost of shift kit install?

Newbie here, just bought the explorer from my brother, actually traded vehicles with him, had a Dodge Ram that was modified to my liking(roller rockers, headers, dual exhaust, CAI, chip etc.) My tranny on my truck shifted nice and firm due to the chip and the easy adjustment I made to the T.V. valve. I am under the impression my new ride has no cable or anything like that I can adjust for firmer shifts. So, does anyone know how much the cost would be for a shift kit install. Don't feel like tackling it myself, this vehicle is my daily driver so cannot afford to putz around. I love the "Lorer" as I call it but the tranny needs to be firmed up a bit. Not gonna spend the money I did on my Ram cause the explorer will eventually go to the girlfriend and I will get a new truck. But I will spend money either on a shift kit and the install or a programmer like superchips whatever is cheaper. Any info is appreciated Oh it has the 5.0 with 54,000 miles on it
