Could it be an Aftermarket parts ?

I have an 01 Sport Trac with 100K. Bought it since New. Just turned 100K. Never a problem, just recently it gave a CEL...(Check Engine Light) and throw out the P0401. So I went and replaced the EGR Regulator, then EGR Valve itself. After driving it for 10-20 miles, the CEL came back ON. So went back to the well-known place...lol Autozone and swapped another EGR Valve and the CEL still ON after a few miles driving.

Did some research here, not much luck. So I decided to post my question. For some reason it didn't come up as I am sure I am not the only one having this CEL ON.

Aftermarket DPFE sensors are known to not last as long as Ford/Motorocraft but that's a bit short. It would be more likely the DPFE than the EGR valve itself though.
