I have a 93 4dr Explorer 4x4. I have 29x10.50 Thornbirds on it now but Im really looking for something bigger. I was wondering if anyone out there has installed a 4" Superlift suspension themselves on their explorer. My question is it enough room for 33x12.50 Thornbirds on an offset wheel and will I have any steering problems. I worry about the steering because I once had an 85 Ranger that I installed an 8" Skyjacker suspension with 35x12.50 muds and I had major steering problems. I was also wondering what gears to run with 33's. I have 3.27 now with the average AOD. I had 4.56 in mind but would that be too low?? I would appreciate anyones suggestions and would like to soon place pictures and stories of my explorer here. Thanks alot!

well... unless you wanna do major trimming you wont fit hose 33 12.50's with just 4 inchs.... maybe a 33 10.50 you can do the 5.5 and clear 33's with minor trimming. with 33's depending on what kinda driving you do i say 4:10's is good enough... unless you go with 35's or so then 4:56
