Couple Quick Questions

Okay so is it possible to get a replacement carpet from Ford for my Explorer or am I better off just buying one from Auto-Zone or somewhere. Also I lost the keyfob to the car (The thing that locks and unlocks the doors and has the panic alarm on it. Is it possible to get a replacement?

I bought 2 replacement fobs off of ebay for 30.00.
just check the fcc id or check the sellers sight.
it took 30 sec to reprogram.

I also got replacement fobs from eBay for real cheap. Here is a link for a pair of fobs for your Ex from the same seller I got mine from for $28.90 shipped: Dead Link Removed. They come with new batteries and programming instructions. The instructions can also be found in the owner's manual. If you don't have an owner's manual, Dead Link Removed.

You can get the carpet from Ford but it's gonna cost you an arm and a leg. Have you tried cleaning it? One of our members, Joe Dirt, takes his carpet out and goes to the car wash with it. The results are incredible! His latest conquest can be found here. The carpet cleaning process begins with post #272.

Wow

Just wanted to poke my head back in and let you all know that I haven't cleaned the carpets yet since the weather hasn't been the greatest but I did order the fob from ebay as suggested and things went swimmingly. Lastly...I was wondering what you could recommend to clean my seat? I had my nephew in the car and he peed all over the seat....Gross I know....
