I'm not sure if there's another way but the way I know of isn't too bad. You have to take the inside door pannel off (or at least pulled away enought to get to the bulb). I've had to do it a few times and it's easy. There are a couple(3) of screws to take out, one up by the window, two down around the door handel, take those out. Next take a flat head screwdriver and gently pry out the (in my case) black plastic trim around the handel, it should pop loose pretty easy. Then take a couple of old credit cards or kroger cards...something like that and wedge them in between the metal door and the plastic inside pannel. Push a screwdriver in between the cards and then gently pry some of the panel loose. Then you can remove the rest pretty simply by feeling around, finding where the push pin things are,...and giving a quick sharp jerk. Once you get the pannel loose you'll see that there is a couple of wires going to the coutrosy light, just twist the little plastic bulb housing you see and pull it out...there's your bulb. If your carefull and the temperature is warm (the plastic gets brittle when it's cold...found out the hard way of that :)) you shouldn't have a problem. Instead of doing the credit card/screwdriver part you could goto an autoparts store and get the correct tool, it wouldnt' be much at all...probably be better if you did, i'm just cheap and used what I had at the time :).

Good Luck
CP :D
