usually around when it starts turning colder where im at my 05 ST usually starts having a crackling noise when i give it gas. ive always thought it was valve clatter but ive tried everything from gas treatment to B-12 chemtool to higher grade gas to try and stop it but it still wont. it doesnt get worse as the rpms get higher its just when its under a slight load. if i step on it i cant hear it at all. maybe water in the lines somehow?
